Like Veruca Salt, "No Now!"

Disney Couture Bambi Hoops, Fred Flare, $40--
I confess, although the film was entirely too tragic for me, I appreciate Bambi in theory...or in accessories anyway.

Anodized Tumbler, Urban Outfitters, 4 for $15--
These tumblers remind me of being at my Grandmother's in the early '80s.  I'll take one in every color, please.

Diner Cups, Urban Outfitters, 5 for $10--
School cafeteria.  I only wish I had divided plates to go with them.

Silver Spoon Necklace, Urban Outfitters, $24--
I was born with one in my mouth.  Now, I'll gladly wear one around my throat.

Peacock Earrings, Urban Outfitters, $18--
I generally am sick of peacock accessories, but these in the neutral form are pleasing and classy.

Man, I've been jonesing for a lovely umbrella in a horrid way lately.  This one seems perfect!  I've actually been yearning for rain, although I always talk shit about it when it's hear to commiserate with people in day to day conversation (although I secretly always actually adore rain).

Lomography Holga 35mm Camera, Urban Outfitters, $60--
I've always wanted a Holga but never had the requisite patience for sending off film, and in the small town of Jonesboro, I always doubted the availability of processors for slide film.

Floozy teacup saucer, Trixiedelicious, $30--
I already have one of her plates that says "Sinner", but I appreciate this one even more.  I always love a trampy lady.  Cheers to those not willing to let reputation slow them down.

Deploy Earrings, Neawear, $22--
These are actually made with goose feathers & very fragile.  They are recommended wearing with tied up hair.  My hair is short, so I think it'll accodmate.  Sooo gorgeous.  A good pair of earrings can make anything look fashionable.  Try it, I promise.

Imaginary Birthday Party

Um, hello, my birthday is coming up soon (September).  I’m a plan ahead/daydream kind of girl.  If money were no cost, Williams-Sonoma would be putting on my birthday party in a grand way.  They even have a suckling pig I could order if I so desired!  Here are things I do desire…

Orleans Toile Tablecloth, Blue, Williams-Sonoma, $47.99-$85.99...on the table, under my birthday cake.

Lavendar Logs with Twine, Set of 3, Williams-Sonoma, $29.00...to scent the room, relax party attendees...plus, they're lovely to look at!

Tsar Nicoulai Infused Caviar Gift Set, Williams-Sonoma, $84.00...birthday lunch.  Soo colorful too!

Flower Petit Fours, Set of 12, Williams-Sonoma, $29.00...dessert, m'dear?

Parisian Macarons, Williams-Sonoma, $49.00...I absolutely adore these delicate treats!  So much flavor.  Oh, indulgence.

Bialetti Stovetop Espresso Maker, Williams-Sonoma, $34.95...wash her down with some espresso, or I'd adore as a present.

Ring Around the Collar

Dejarnette is a lovely store with the most sumptious necklaces ever.  I love the necklace with the 5 quite a bit as 5 is my favorite number, and I used to think if I should go to heaven, I would like to be a 5.  Also, cheaper version of MoMA store's bubbles!

Bubbles, Dejarnette, $50-$60

Let's Play Olden Days!

Latte Velvet & Lace Jacket, Victorian Trading Co., $59.95

Rosebud Salve, Victorian Trading Co., $6.95--
I swear by this (on everything)!

Marie Antoinette Jacket, Victorian Trading Co., $129.95

I'm a nature-girl. Can't you see me with the cows & chicken shit all over me? Huh?

Miss A Kit, Urban Outfitters, $18.00--
Like the Lemonheads, “I lied about being the outdoor type,” but with these accessories, it’s hard to not sell off my belongings & head for the woods!

Bambi Tray, Urban Outfitters, $14.00--

Bambi is tragic, as all the Disney movies are, but this tray is not.  Thumper & good ol’ Bambs bring a sweet charm to that old school fake wood that reminds me of 1970s station wagons.

Animal Bracelet (horse), Urban Outfitters, $28.00--
Blame it on a recent animal obsession buried, shallowly I might add, from 6th grade back in full force.  That horse bracelet reminds me of a grown up My Little Pony girl which I freely confess to being!

Addenum:  Quote attributed & slightly modified from my favorite film, Last Tango in Paris.

First Featurette

Shauna Ballet Flats, Target,  $14.99--
My cousin, Lexi (who attends Stephens College for fashion), actually discovered these, but I admired them enough that she ordered a pair for me (I've heard they're sold out in most of the Target stores).  Burlap-ish in person & sweet.  Lexi swears they're comfortable enough that she'll wear these the whole summer!  She repeated that several times, "I'm wearing these the wholeeeee summer."  That's a major shoe accomplishment in my book (just like my gray boots that I wore the whole Winter).

Addenum:  I hope you'll like it here.  I'll try to post daily/at least several times a week.  There won't be just clothing.  It'll be miscellaneous finds/desires/likes/tastes/sounds/sights/ETC.!
